Sweden week 6 - Finally warm again

I'm writing here from week 6 in Sweden, posted in week 7.

This week I headed south again and even though this means that my trip will soon be over, it also means that it's finally warm again. After days of really cold nights, it was so surprisingly warm again that I had to get used to it again. It's much easier when it's warm, especially when (car) camping. But at the same time, the mild weather also means mild landscapes. Gone are the extremes and impressive landscapes shaped by the weather, time and the movement of the earth, the wild and rough. Suddenly my surroundings seemed very gentle again. Do I have to choose?

This week the lovely weather suited me, I was in Sollefteå and Stockholm. In between we were at a very nice little harbor with lots of other campers. There was a hot shower there! The first and only one on the trip. In any case, any form of equipment (be it garbage cans) is a pleasant luxury. I feel more at home in the rest of society again and can slowly get in the mood for the return journey.

However, I will miss the cold, clear lake or river water for washing. In contrast to Norway, washing my body in Sweden was not a big challenge.

Even though I went to Sweden for the breathtaking landscapes, I also wanted to spend some time in Stockholm again. I wanted to remember what it was like when I studied there for a few months 14/15 years ago, I wanted to remember who I was back then and, if necessary, to recapture something of it. I don't know if it worked, but something old, something from the past stayed with me the whole trip. In any case, it was stimulating there.

As I didn't take any photos of the more ordinary landscapes and cities anyway, there isn't much to see from this week. But if you're interested, you can find more insights with a phone camera on Instagram under Highlights.

I do not know, what this is, this came in the morning and stayed until noon, was really cool! This photo is made a bit darker, than it really was.

If you're interested in my trip, you can get more day-to-day insights on Instagram in the stories and highlights!
